Love the fins just wish we would get an owner that has a clue or that understood football tradition.

Instead of looking to make a buck. You want to change the logo… go back to the 80′s logo that way you can still make your money and keep the tradition going.

and for those of you who don’t like the logo… go find another team. It shows the lack of football knowledge. Worried about a logo… Really??? Please become a Jets fan.

honestly for those that want the logo change is that freaking thing any better???????

This franchise is starting to become a joke around the league.

Got another great idea focus on winning instead of changing the logo. Are you going to put people in the stands by changing the logo? Get a clue ownership.

I’m not against to change as long as its for the right reasons and it’s an improvement. I don’t like at all what has been leaked and I’ve been a Dolphins fan for over 40 years.

What I would really like to see is for the team to go retro and bring back the old 1972 look! Maybe that would bring some good mojo with it and get us back to being a feared power in the AFC!

The current coaching staff has the Fins heading in the right direction and maybe bringing back that historic uniform and logo would put them over the top. I mean after all, any real football fan that sees that old logo knows who it belongs to and that it still stand for PERFECTION to this day. GO DOLPHINS!!

Donald Ross grew up a Jets fan. Now he is turning our logo into the Jets Logo. Next he will hire Fireman Eduardo to work the stands.

Alright, posted this last night, and like most posts lately, it’s magically disappeared. I say do a total overhaul. Go with the name from Any Given Sunday of the Miami Sharks. Change the colors to grey, blood red, and white. The Dolphins have done nothing meaningful as a team since the 70′s, time to put them out to pasture.

From a design perspective, it is a well designed logo. But it is a logo that does not go with the sport of football. It is something I would design for a save the dolphins organization and not a something I would do for a football team. I have seen logos designed by fans that would be more fitting. In fact I wonder why they didn’t hold a logo contest. Would have been a great way to get fans to feel as part of the team.

the fins take one step forward then 10 steps back. LEAVE THE LOGO ALONE PLEASE!!!! Update the stadium, update the pants, maybe the jersey and the “miami” in the endzone but please leave the logo alone. I wouldn’t mind seeing us wear our throwbacks sometimes either…like the uniforms Griese wore with the grey facemask back in the 70s.

I kind of like it. Its more realistic than the old one. Dolphins don’t really wear helmets. Ultimately the decision should be made by Don Shula and Dan Marino, and in case of a tie Zach Thomas could be called in.

i love the dolphins logo the way it is now. im a dolphins fan and like the article says i want a change on the football field, not the logo. I will be disappointed if the logo changes even though that seems inevitable

Bengals fan here, and I’m not diggin’ it.

The Phins should stick with their old logo, as it has a ton of tradition behind it. Plus the new one does look like a cheap tattoo of a jumbo jet. Do Dolphins fans really want a logo that looks like a Jet? Just sayin.
