Being a Pats fan, I cannot stand the Giants, but with that being said, the odds are in their favor to make it!

I came on here during the off season and said that the giants wouldn’t make the playoffs AGAIN. Got a bunch of thumbs down by giants fans ofcourse. I still don’t know how this team managed to make it to the SuperBowl last year.

Most NFL teams don’t make the playoffs 3 out of 5 years, much less win the Super Bowl twice in that 5 years. There are exceptions/perennial favorites (Patriots, Colts, Steelers are teams that come to mind recently), but even those teams have down years. There is a reason why there is so much “post season turnover” every year.

And don’t think that the Patriots are going to be winning like this forever. At some point, they will be rebuilding, and they will stink something rotten. ALL teams do.

Giants will beat Philly, and get the 6th spot. Not a Giants fan, never count these guys out, they have a way of making fools out of the haters.

Two years ago we went 10-6 and became one of the few with that record to miss out. So please don’t make it sound like we lucked into the playoffs twice in the last 20 years and magically won the SB those times. If we could get 6 built in wins per year and then find a way to scrape 4 wins out of 10 from the rest of the league, we’d probably be talking about the Giants as the team of the 21st century instead of your overrated team (who is one HOF QB away from being the Bills). Instead, we’re consistently trying to cobble a playoff qualifying record playing against perennial 10+ win teams in Dallas and Philly and 1st place schedule teams such as Saints, GB, Atl and SF.

If anyone should be ashamed at what they’ve “accomplished”, especially having the G.O.A.T. at QB, it’s really the Pats.

They haven’t even made the playoffs 2 of the last 3 seasons. Finishing above .500 must be a big deal to you. In 2009 they barely did that!!

EVERYONE wondered how the Giants made it to the Super Bowl last year.

You give us all a bad name. If anything, we deserved it far LESS in the years that we won it all. In 07 and 11 we lost to some pretty dreadful teams and played uninspired ball for long periods until we lucked into some momentous turning point games those years (Pats, Jets off the top of my head).

This year, we had a pretty daunting schedule and played pretty decently for the most part until it appeared that we simply ran out of emotional gas toward the end here. That, and every week we had the champion target on our backs. Some years you can overcome these issues and injuries, and some you can’t. It’s no surprise that SB participants have difficulty maintaining it the next year.

Can’t believe the NFL allows him to make judgments against other franchises….

You’re a idiot. The packers will not lose this week, just like they didn’t lose the past 10 divisional games. I’d give the vikings a shot if they had more than a running back, but that’s not enough to take down the packers. So keep dreaming, junior. Or go smoke some more of that weed, snoop.
