Bengals are “new to winning?” Only five teams have been to the playoffs at least 3 of the last 4 years. The Bengals are one of the five. I’m guessing (given the math…I’m in Finance) that means 27 other teams are less “new to winning” than Cincy at this point…

26 5 not being a perspiring math major I can tell you they didn't get to the Super Bowl which is the only goal that matters. If you want to be tee shirts boys and be proud of that so be it.

You are wrong. We went to the playoffs in 1981-1982 and have been in them 3 or the last 5 years. ’09,’11,’12. Why don’t you check your facts before the next time you write a column.

------------------------------------------------

In the playoffs 2009, missed in 2010, in the playoffs again in 2011 and 2012. That is 3 out of 4 years. You should check your math next time. You also sound very angry for no reason.

I'm as die-hard a Bengals fan as there is, but let's face it: the Bengals only have two "quality" wins since we got Andy Dalton. We beat the Giants and Steelers this year, and both of those teams were in a slide at the time. Meanwhile, we lost very winnable games vs Cleveland, Miami, and Dallas.

If the Giants had pulled out a win vs Baltimore last week, we'd be in pretty decent shape, as a win vs Baltimore this week would mean we'd have a home game vs Indy. Instead, as the #6 seed, we're either headed to Foxboro or Houston, and I don't feel particularly good about our chances in either game. So, as much as I'd like to see us finally break our 22-year streak without a playoff win, odds are it won't be this year. (Feel free to prove me wrong, guys!)

This Bengals team is very different than the 90's and early 2000's bengals were all used to.

I didn't think they'd be able to look back on the whole not trading the rights to A.J. Green for a handful of picks as a positive decision at the time but it's one of the best choices this team has made in years. That and drafting your defensive MVP (Geno).

The bengals are on a life lesson trip… They are new to winning they may forget how after one week so keep the pedal down the ravens couldn’t beat a third stringer so Andy will be ok….good luck beating the losing ravens.

The Steelers are on a trip;to the bottom of the division.

What is it with the "non-strike playoff year" as an emphasis?

Nobody gives the Redskins an asterisk for beating the Dolphins in the SB that year.

Now all we'll hear about after they win a playoff game is their SB drought.

Let it go. They've made the playoffs 3 of the last 4 years. They are no longer the "Bungles". It's ok to move on.
