Julius Peppers named NFC defensive player of the week

The Cardinals have an offensive line that may be the best at making opponents look good.

Bears defensive end Julius Peppers didn’t need the help.

Peppers earned NFC defensive player of the week honors, after a dominating performance against the Cards last week.

Peppers had three sacks, a forced fumble, a pass defensed and two hurries.

The veteran end can throw a switch and take over a game at any moment, and last week was one of those times he reminds he’s among the best in the game.

He sure can dominate, and it also helps when he is facing a sieve like offensive line.
