Everyone has forgotten that the giants loss to the skins in week 16 last yr and then went on to win the Super Bowl. I would not count the texans out or anyone in the tournament yet. Remember, the so called nfl least conf has the team of the last sb champ too. No one knows what is going to happen!

Revised comment—-IF my pick is correct, the Pack wouldn’t face their own division in the Wild Card, and the NFC LEast winner MIGHT beat the Vikes. Packers vs Seahawks in GB would be worth watching!

I’m not sure the winner of the NFC LEast is worth worrying about, since they will likely host the Seahawks in the Wild Card and lose anyway. My game of the week is Packers-Vikes. After choking to the Giants last year, the Pack definitely have it in them. The Vikings looked hungry last week against the Texans, and have finally learned that just because Peterson gets few yards on 3 carries, it doesn’t mean he won’t break one for a touchdown the next. Tough pick, but I’m thinking the Pack plays an extra game in the playoffs.

Giants fan here,when they lost to redskins 3 weeks ago I knew they were in trouble,I’m gonna watch these games and hope it comes down to Sunday night skins-Dallas..the eagles backed in a few years ago with a lot more things having to happen,I believe it will happen,but there not winning it this year,and that’s all that matters,winning it all..

What is with some of the people on here acting like Viking fans are bandwagon jumpers. The Metrodome has been selling out for years. I watched every game last year even though we won three games. Packer fans(not all but most) act like it is absurd we are excited for a chance at the playoffs just because we play the almighty Packers. I didn’t think we would be in this position but it is absurd to think that the Vikings have no chance in this game.

The Texans offense HAS to wake up this week or this will be a short playoff run. 1 offensive TD in the last 8 qtrs…

Last year after clinching the division the team went into kind of a slumber mode and then turned it up in the playoffs. Lets hope that happens again…

All the pressure will be on the deadskins to win on sunday nite, simply because the nation will be waiting to see tony romo fail, he will not in fact romo will thrive on the big stage with deep an intermediater routes to dez bryant ( the deadskins can not cover this man, he’s a beast, he should have been voted for the Pro Bowl, so dez will take out his frustration on the deadskins secondary), for the intermediate routes Pro Bowl TE jason witten will be killing the deadskins over the middle. with the cowboys offensive line improving, expect demarco murrary to rush for over 100yds. romo will have more passing yards than RG3, who will probably get hurt an won’t be able to finsh the game, because of the cowboys no-name defense). I see murrary, bryant, witten, an the sleeper of the game miles austin getting td’s on the deadskins secondary with a field goal to put the icing on the cake. America’s Team upset the deadskins 31 to 10, yes, that right a blow out, the cowboys are super bowl bound baby, riding the arm of their fearless leader qb tony romo. the deadskins will have to come to Big D for the wild card game, which of course, America’s Team will sweep again on their way to New Orleans to meet the Manning Broncos who will be representing the AFC.

I wouldn’t pick the Falcons over the Bucs. The reason why is because the Falcons have nothing to play for. So I don’t expect for their starters to play much in this game.

It’s a Preseason game, as far as the Falcons are concerned. The #1 objective for the team will be to stay healthy and no one gets hurt.

All I know is that it will be a close game against the Vikings. I know you won’t see them giving up in the 3rd quarter and crying on the sidelines…maybe that’s why I care way more about the Packer-Viking rivalry than I have ever cared about beating the Bears. At least it will be an entertaining game.

GB may just pull a 1989 SF move and lose to the Vikings on purpose just to avoid the remote possibility of another Eli invasion.

(For the teenie boppers on here, SF was in the same situation going for a higher seed but chose to lay down to the LA Rams to keep the Giants out of the playoffs because the Giants were in SF’s head then just as they’re in GB’s head now.)
