St. Louis is a tweak and a half away from being a division title contender. Arizona started off the year 5-0 and had an insane defense most of the year. You can't write off road losses early on to those two teams this year.

3-5 on the road.
The one road win you could look at and say was quality was Chi, although the Bears had lost 2 of the last 3 leading up to that game and had been playing badly.
The GB game was a joke, and you all should know that. The NE win was by a C-hair and only happened because NE's secondary was playing so badly at the time.

Drastically improved team no doubt.
Hats off to PC, the Defense, Wilson and Lynch, but playoffs are a much different story than playing AZ and St Louis 4 games of the year.

Until they win a road playoff game, I'll reserve judgement

infectorman,
Look at the way the season has gone for the Seahawks, they started winning games on the road at the end of the regular season.
That is a sign of a young team getting to know each others capabilities.
RW, only had the full playbook open the last 4 games of the season.
Don't concentrate too hard on the road record.
It has nothing to do with the way the Seahawks are currently playing.

Fella's, simmer down, the GD playoffs ain't even started yet.
Plus your Hawks are a dichotomous team: Great at home. On the road? Another story altogether

```````````````
Wow. No company reuses urinalysis specimen jars and they are only "sealed" in front of (or by) the person giving the sample.  That's a weak argument for why his sample tested positive.  The truth is likely that he used whatever drug showed up in his test but the idiot tester improperly documented the bad cup.  That is an administrative technicality, not an exoneration.  If the tester would have simply documented the first cup was broken and the sample transferred, Sherman would have most likely lost his appeal.
We are only having this discussion because someone with inside knowledge of the suspension violated rules against disclosure and caused Sherman's character to be defamed prematurely and linking him forever in the public mind with drug use.  The collector was incompetent to break the first container, then transfer the sample to an unsealed container that was possibly used previously and contaminated.  He then falsified his report to omit his mistake and the break in custody that would have invalidated that test immediately while another sample could have been taken.  Sherman says this collector has had other tests invalidated and his job was on the line.  If the league is so cheap they can't pay competent testers, can't they at least save some money and show some decency by just dropping the suspension when the irregularities were discovered?  Maybe spend it finding out who disclosed his name to start with.  Truth is we don't know how many other bad tests there were because they weren't disclosed like Sherman's was.
The NFL's drug testing system does not work anyway.  I'm surprised he was even suspected of taking a performance enhancing drug in the first place.  Have you looked at the blotter that is posted by this site?  Count how many players that have been picked up for possession of marijuana.  If their are that many that have been caught by local law enforcement agencies just for possesion (which is actually using it), I would venture to say that their are a whole lot more players that are using the drug and just have not been caught.  I guarantee that any given month you could catch 50 players testing positive for marijuana if they actually wanted to.  I know someone is going to say that the NFL doest test for this.  The tests are not effective obviously.  Take a look at the blotter.  These are the people we looked up to as kids and our kids look up to right now.
I can't wait to watch Seattle destroy the Packers in Lambeau in the playoffs.
Seattle is a very balanced team right now, and dominating on both sides of the ball. The last 3 weeks, their defense is stifling every offense they face, while the offense scores so easily that a nation full of whiners cry about poor sportmanship. It hasn't even been close.
Green Bay lacks balance. Yes, they have a great passing game. But their offensive line looks soft and will be picked on again by the Seattle pass rush. And you can't honestly believe their defense is so much better than Chicago or San Francisco. Because they're not even close.
Right now, Seattle would destroy Green Bay. On the road or at home. The Seahawks are a young physical team built to punch you in the mouth repeatedly. They aren't afraid of anyone. Swagger, confidence and brutal intimidation. This team is going to Louisiana and that weak Packer team definitely ain't stoppin us. Y'all look out!!
The Packers will welcome the 3-5 road Seahawks with open arms. They beat them once already, and they’ve only gotten better.
@jprcox
People love to hate on Seattle right now since they are beating everyone up so badly, and we’ve beat NE, PACK, BEARS, and now SF – so a lot of hate.
———————
Seattle didn’t beat the Pack. That game is why we no longer have replacement officials on the field. Seattle’s “win” over the Pack was the national embarrassment it took to have Goodell and the owners swallow their pride and cave to the Refs union. Not one single person in this nation outside of Seattle believes that the packers lost that game. Hell, probably most people in Seattle don’t even buy it either.
---------------------------------------------------------
You obviously didnt watch the game, just the last play.  If you would have watched the whole game, you would have known (if non biased) that there were bad calls that benefitted Green Bay, especially on their last "TD" drive where they were bailed out by a phantom P.I. that never should have been called, allowing them to convert a third and long.  That last Hail Mary should have never even had to happen.  Green Bay should have focused on not getting sacked 9 times.
Hey Packers fans, you're welcome for beating the 9ers team that you failed to beat.  Ask your WR if they are looking forward to playing our secondary or if they would rather play another team??? Have Finley give Davis a call and have him explain the hit Kam put on him!
Go Hawks!
"Green Bay, Atlanta and even yes, SF, will love to see you in January."
-See, thats what is funny.  Two of the three you listed already have seen Seattle and we know how that went for them.  And Atlanta?  No one is nervous about playing them, especially with the best CB locking down either Jones or White.
"And I would rather see the Seahawks than the Niners, Packers, Falcons, Texans, Broncos, Patriots, Ravens."
-Ask Rodgers, Brady, Kaep, Romo, Cam, Cutler how it worked out "seeing" us.  Forget the 150 points in our last 3 games, let's just focus on the 42 we hung on the Niners, the leagues "best" defense and top ranked team on Prime Time TV.
I guess we'll see come playoff time.  My prediction is an easy ROAD win at Dallas or Wash and we'll go from there!
Do we see a pattern here? The NFL accuses a player of doing something, the player appeals, the original punishment is overturned because of shoddy investigations done by the NFL. Happened to the Saints and now Sherman of the Seahawks. Only this time Goodell didn't dig in his stubborn heels and refuse to overturn his appeal. Good for Sherman for challenging his suspension. If players continue to challenge the dictator, maybe the NFL will get its act together and quit jumping to conclusions until it has fully investigated charges against its players.
