ive been a die hard bengals fan since i can remember and i can tell you this if the bengals were in new york or a bigger market the press would bash mike brown for being so dang cheap. i love my bengals but mike brown is a cancer to football. he’d rather line his pockets then pay for a competitive football team. we got lucky in the last few drafts and got some young hungry talent. but dont let it fool you mike brown is still mike brown.

This doesn’t surprise me, and I don’t mean that to be a zing towards Cincinnati.

The NFL has done just about everything in its power to ruin the game for fans who attend the game – - from ticket prices, parking prices, limited tailgate times, flex scheduling, ridiculous time-outs for the ‘viewer at home, ‘et cetera, et cetera.

Of course…one must consider the concession prices as well.

Cleveland

Tampa Bay

Miami

Not bad for a small market. Especially considering that the Bengals have the longest streak without a playoff win (21 years).

All of your people fussing about this sell out need to look at your own teams..

The Titans could not get 30k for a Monday night game.. Sure it may have been sold out but thats meaningless if they do not show..

I see a ton of empty seats across the board..

The NFL is pricing them self out of a live audience.
You can say that the Brown family is cheap.. but maybe in a small small market you have to be.

I will say the 90s as a Bengals fan was pretty hard..
But come on.. We are playing good football over the past couple of seasons…

If you want to fuss.. Look at the Rams.. How many super bowls and over the past 10 years and where are their fans? Id say Cinci is doing ok for where the USA is right now…

I love my Bengals and always will

The whole attitude about going down to the game seemed to change when Mike Brown & Marvin Lewis held that press conference announcing Marvin’s new contract a couple of years ago. His arrogance and “this is my team and deal with it” attitude just turned everyone off.

I could have gotten my buddies tickets for $20 bucks but passed. 29 degrees and $10 beer is a little much to endure for a meaningless game. The only thing I will miss is the pregame tailgate party, but my liver will thank me.

Do you not see the irony here? Did you forget to mention the lopsided stadium deal that came with the promise of a competitive team? And the 7 year sellout streak that was in the midst of some pretty horrible seasons? Give me a freaking break.. The stadium I’m sure will be sold out every game next year. Everyone knows this game against the Ravens is going to more or less be a pre-season game by the beginning of the 2nd half.

these prices NEED to come down across the board… the NFL could charge these prices when everyone wanted to go to the game…. NOW these days alotta people wana stay home and watch AND in turn, you dang NFL teams are GETTING HUGE TV money that you used to not get that offsets all these tix monies you used to get… you cant have both cakes and eat them too… the sellout capacity needs to drop or them prices need to drop OR we’ll quit watchin it on Tv…(ahhh yea right, ill just pull my hair out)

Its pretty ironic to call Bengals fans “Fickle”while also stating, in the same sentence, that the team hasnt had back to back playoff appearances in team history … ANY Bengals fan, at this point, is a die hard fan. Fickle fans left a long time ago (about the same time Dave Shula exited the building)….

Bengals fans must be spoiled or something. If my Bills were not so crappy and in the position to making the playoffs or already in the playoffs, the game would have been sold out at least a week ago. Either Cincy doesn’t have fans for football, or they are ungrateful. It really is a shame they have to announce a sell out 2 days before the game…..

Too bad we had 57 (7 years) straight regular season home sell outs in a row all while they were losing miserably. We got fed up and are making dang sure that Mike Brown (the worst owner in all of sports) is for real about building this team or if he’s going to pull the rug out from under us.
