Getty ImagesWinter weather conditions through western New York have left the Buffalo Bills in need of some assistance.
The Bills are asking for fans to come help shovel snow from Ralph Wilson Stadium in advance of their season finale against the New York Jets on Sunday.
The team is requesting fans that are interested in lending a hand to come to gates 7 and 8 at the stadium on Friday. Employees must be at least 17 years of age and be able to present photo identification. Fans are also urged to dress appropriately as temperatures are expected to be in the 20′s.
Anyone that helps out will be paid for their services at a rate of $10/hour.

Please let them leave before the game begins.
They should offer anyone that shows up to shovel a free ticket as well considering the game’s blacked out.
It’s amazing how much snow that town gets.
The Bills should recruit shovelers in Green Bay — the Packers have a regular brigade. The so-called “usual suspects.”
Wow, even more than minimum wage!??!??!
Give me a shovel!

At least they are paying 10 bucks an hour for it. Otherwise no one would show up. Not for this franchise.
Also, what was Thurman going on about a couple of days ago? What was the big news that was going to break?
$10/hour? How about sweetening the deal with some team swag?
Im not from Buffalo and Im not a fan, but this is whats cool about a football town like Buffalo. Its a rare small city where people can come together to help shovel snow for an actual NFL game to occur. You could parlay that experience into some insane story 20 years down the line at the dinner table. “Yeah and I single handedly shoveled gate 7 for the game and here came Mark Sanchez. I buried him with a pile of yella snow”
Hook’em up with a free seat too. There’s bound to be plenty with the temps and these two teams playing!!
LOL…this is beyond sad.
Buffalo got about a foot and a half of snow, which is the most we’ve had in a couple of years. They always hire fans to help shovel this is the first time it made PFT that I can remember.
Whoops missed the last part….OK, $10/hr is basically working for free
They only need to shovel the lower portion of the stadium since the event will be more vacant than a Jacksonville Jaguars home game or Foghat reunion concert. Then all of the attendees, regardless of what seat is denoted on their ticket, can fill in the seats closest to the field.
Another delusional jaguars attendance bashing. Go figure.
The way they’ve played, they should make the team go in the stands and do the shoveling.

Can’t speak to Foghat, but the Jags average around 65,000 a game (and I’m not a Jags fan). Perhaps you’re confused with St. Louis, who can’t give away tickets to their games.
I’ll sign up if I can shovel Chan Gailey and Ryan Fitzpatrick out of town.
Maybe Tebow can help out. At least he’d be doing something useful rather than rotting away on the Jets sideline, acting like he cares what’s going on.
Considering tarps cover 20,000 seats I don’t believe 65,000 ppl go to jags games. You are stupid
They *were* going to offer free tickets to the game, but they wanted people to show up to help shovel.
I live between Jacksonville and Tampa. Jags do have tarps covering almost entire upper bowl. Games are always blacked out and if not, they’re empty. Why don’t they let ppl in nosebleeds move down to fill the empty lower seats?
Th
They should call Ryan Fitzpatrick to shovel some snow… He’s earning more than $10/hour and literally done nothing!!
These will be the only people.. including on the field.. earning their pay this weekend.
