Biggest mistake was letting Jeff Fisher get away. Munckak is not the guy for the HC position. This can be fixed but the list is short……Cowher, Gruden, Saban or Kelly. Has to be one of those four…..then grab Alex Smith from the niners…..he is NOT the QBOTF but he can fill the spot until the right man falls our way. Remember how far he took SF and he was NEVER loved by JH…..finally…rebuild the defense….in 3 years we will be Division Champs

My 10 cents on the sad state of the Titans as a huge fan:

1. Regardless of where you stand on VY. When you get rid of your coach AND so called QB of the future in the same year you are screwed for years. Only the Colts have been able to pull this off.

2. The Titans have drafted horribly for the past eight years and it is finally catching up with them. The list of busts is extensive- VY, Pacman, Griffin (yes Griffin), Dereck Morgan, Jared Cook (I like him but they gave up a lot to get Cookie), Lendale White, Chris Henry, etc., etc. To top it off, the Titans hit a home run with Courtland Finnegan as a seventh round pick and they refused to pay him.

3. The Munchak hire was a joke. If you were going to hire from within, we should have stuck with Fisher.

4. The Nashville media has been too soft on criticism of the front office. It sickens me to listen Mark Howard on the Titans postgame show repeated stand up for Munchak. I’m glad there is a sense of apathy with the fan base. That is the only way to get Bud’s attention.

I know not every Titan fan liked/loved Vince Young, but most Titan fans did not agree with the team moving on from the young QB. Vince Young wasn’t the typical Pocket passer, nor was he a run n’ gun QB either. He was a little bit of both. Sometimes you don’t need to be a prototypical player to win games. Young had a winning record as the starting QB for the Titans, but still lost his job. I think It was more of a personal issue than anything else that removed Young from his spot. Personally, I think it was a bad move getting rid of Young and believe the Titans will be cursed from now on for their actions.

Off the field, Jake is everything VY was not. Hard worker, leadership qualities, not insane, et cetera. Their subpar o-line became atrocious due to injuries. I’d give Jake a year to see how he does with a better line. And keep Hasselbeck just in case.

I’m really really really really hoping to wake up Monday morning to find out Munchak has been fired.

Even in 2005 Fisher still had a pretty solid reputation and there was hope for the future with him, wasn’t til 2010 people wanted his head on a platter.

But with Munchak, theres absolutely no way I can be excited about the future, he’s got to go!

Locker shows that no matter how much a team is in need of a QB, they should never be desperate for a QB. Too often, teams in need of a QB become desperate and when they get desperate, they make bad QB decisions.

Whether it’s Oakland drafting JaMarcus Russell first overall, or the Jets trading up for Sanchez or the Titans drafting Locker way too high, or the Vikings drafting Ponder way too high, or Arizona trading for Kolb when he had what, 2 starts.

If a QB isn’t grading out as a first round pick then don’t pick him in the first round just because you need a QB. If someone else wants to make that mistake then let them. It amazes me how personnel people that are supposedly highly intelligent and good at what they do continue to make poor choices, usually out of desperation, when it comes to the QB position.

bud adams is reaping the karma for the way he left houston holding that city hostage for a new stadium!! had he gone about it the right way he could have had a state of the art stadium like reliant stadium. he still lives in houston too! hmmmm!! pretty soon he will tell nashville fans he needs a new stadium to keep up with the nfl because the stadium there is now in the lower 1/3 of nfl stadiums..that stadium opened about the same time as the edward jones dome in st louis and the rams are threatening to move because of the stadium being out of date… the nfl told the city of atalnata no more superbowls till u get a new stadium.. georgia dome is only 20 something years old.. lol enjoy bud adams nashville!! glad he is not in houston anymore!!!

we were fed up after all the good players left bud adams kept letting good players go away…I said when they drafted locker not to throw him in the starting lineup…let him learn for 2-3 years first now everyone sees why. Titans have bad management…should have known when Fisher left…what they did to Kevin Mawae a few years back was horrible…..Titans front office are getting what they deserve
