As a long-time Cowboys fan, I lament the way the ‘Skins routinely burn the Cowboys, but I appreciate a good rivalry. Washington fans have suffered enough and deserve a good team; I’m happy for them. I’m also happy to see Vick heading out the door in Philly, so I can start feeling alright about that team again, but I digress.

Cheers to all Redskins fans on what looks to be years of good teams ahead. But I still hope the Cowboys summon everything they’ve got to spoil it for the home team and make it into what looks to be an anything-goes playoff year.

Starters out= Ratliff, and Coleman on the DL. Lee, and Carter in the middle. Church at ss, Scandrick at nickel corner, Costa at Center….Not to mention Murray was out a large chunk of the yr.. Ware isn’t 100 percent… Jerry needs to spend some money on some doctors/trainers/physio guys….

The Cowboys are the underdog, with half the defense on IR, coming into your house, on national TV, against one of the hottest QB’s of the season, who already whipped the Cowboys in Dallas a little over a month ago…

You lose this one and you will never live it down… / we’ll live it down if we lose; it’s the first year of our rookie qbs season; we were not even expected to be over .500 let alone be in the playoffs.. Dallas on the other hand are the ones who won’t be able to live it down!! Romo has a lot riding on his back in this game, Roberts a rookie! He has way more time to get to the promise land. I dont see Carr (a true starter YET) because this is his First year under Ryans defense, and as All the starters said the year before he (Ryan) came in…”it takes a season to learn his defense” hence why i wouldnt count a ROOKIE coming in a and learning. aka Claiborne. SECONDLY Spears and ANYONE else you mentioned NEVER was a starter for us!

This is without a doubt the biggest game in a decade for the skins. They have everything in their favor and everything to lose. The Cowboys are so beat up they won’t last long into the post season, so the only thing they really have is pride to play for. That is why they will beat the snot out of the team here in D.C.! They will tape up DWare and he will use himself as a battering ram to wreak Havoc Sunday night in that pistol whipped backfield, Watch!!! Go Cowboys!

Demarcus ware is one of the great talents of the defenders that that NFL can offer. This is real sad of the Dallas cowboys management team not being precautious about this injury. We all know jerry Jones has lack of passion of winning, but rushing players back from injury into playing a game is a bad sign. This backfired on jerry Jones when he tried to rush Theo Ratliff during the mid season remember that.

Dallas has had 32 different players on defense due to injuries which is the most in the NFL. This is a fact. The defense is riddled with injuries so please don’t compare a couple of injuries on the Redskins to what has happened to Dallas. You win a couple of games and BAM greatest team ever! Whether you believe it or not, the Cowboys have more than 50% of their defensive starters out. By that I am counting Scandrick as a starter. Church, Scandrick, Lee, Carter, Ratliff, Coleman. Not to mention backups Lemon, Sims and the oft-injured Jenkins (never know if hes gonna play). It’s an uphill battle for sure, but its a rivalry game, and you can never discount that. It will come down to whether Danny McCray can remember that he’s a safety and not linebacker.

Rob Ryan needs to emphasize that Washington invariably runs a small handful of plays, namely the stretch run and the play action off of that run where they almost always throw over the middle. Ware and Spencer need to make a bee-line to RGIII and light him up when they do run the play action. Hit him once and that play stays in the playbook. Then again, this is Shanahan who seems to love to hang RGII out to dry at least once a game.

Trent Williams has played great this year, and he stonewalled Ware in their first meeting. That being said, Ware has beat him before and sacked QBs not named RGIII. Ware is a great pass rusher and it wouldn’t surprise me to see 94 pull RGIII to the ground this weekend.

This game will be great for the NFL and reminds me why I hate the Redskins. Once every ten years when the Redskins have a mediocre season their fans pull their heads out of their asses to make some stupid comments. A win by a late TD earlier in the season and they act like this is a guaranteed blowout.

We will finally put this foolish comparison to bed that Dallas fans like to make, by trying to put Ware in LT’s sphere if he doesn’t come up with 2-3 game changing sacks and a couple of passes defensed, 4-5 stops for loss and possibly an INT.

Like LT did, with the same injury and a less sophisticated harness. The nation will be watching.

Your logic is idiotic. You don’t count starters if they weren’t on last years roster? Starters are starters. Skins are out four defensive starters, their nickel corner, and are starting a rookie qb and rb. Using your “logic”, the skins are a far bigger disadvantage. But, as a true fan, I will not make absurd excuses should my team lose before they even kickoff.

on defense…. Spencer. We are missing 9 starters on defense in this game. I dont count Carr or Claiborne since they where not here last year.
