Bucs build their biggest lead of the day in Atlanta

The Falcons entered Week 17 planning on playing to win.

We’d hate to see what the score would currently be if they weren’t.

After losing five games in a row, the Bucs have emerged from their slumber, pushing their lead to 12 points via a 40-yard touchdown run from rookie running back Doug Martin.  It’s the biggest lead of the day for Tampa, who lost to the NFC’s No. 1 seed by only one point to start Tampa’s current slide.

The Falcons have looked sluggish all day, something they’ll need to overcome before launching their playoff run in two weeks.

Bucs were up 16 to 3 after their second half opening drive, so 12 points wasn’t their biggest lead.

Great win for the Bucs . Finished with a 7 and 9 season. I had them at 8 and 8 so I’ll take that. Looks like we will have a lot of cap room so look for more improvements. GO BUCS!
