Ravens expected to rest Ray Rice today

Let the taking of the foot off the gas begin.

The Ravens have already clinched the AFC North, and while they could still get to the third seed, they know they’ll open the playoffs next week at home.

Because of that, they’re not expected to play running back Ray Rice today against the Bengals.

There’s nothing to be gained, so making sure any key parts are well-rested for next week, especially if they have any minor injuries which could use a little rest.
