I love the Colts, but they aren’t even in my top five favorite teams. Having said that, I glanced at their schedule and I say a lock for 12+ wins. They seem to be facing storm free forecasts in an already air-conditioned climate.

As a Vikings fan I can’t say we’re a lock for more than 6 wins, and I do believe Green Bay will be beaten in Lambeau this week. Minnesota’s climates are far more volatile in general, regardless of the horrendous trends they will face.

Interesting to see Eli Manning returning to San Diego for the 2nd time, and unlike the 05 season, he’s a two-time SB winner now. That should be a good one.

As far as this post season field…no many will disagree but I’m really rooting for the following in this order:

Seattle
Vikings
Redskins
Falcons
49ers
Packers

AFC
Texans
Bengals
Ravens
Colts
Broncos
Patriots

As it looks Buccaneers could go anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6 again but that is their ceiling based on this schedule. Not sure what it is going to take to get the Glazers to sell this team to an owner or ownership group that cares about getting back to the big dance, but as it is right now, it’s not going to happen anytime soon…sad. They could be 0-16, 2-14 or 4-12 real easy too. Guess I’m ready for the draft…like every year since 2002. Oh well…could be worse. I feel bad for teams that underachieve and have high hopes each year but then bottom out. I hope one day to see the Buccos, Panthers, Seahawks, Browns, Bengals, Cardinals, Bills, Lions, Chiefs, Rams, Vikings and Raiders all become power houses and in the postseason all the time. I really hope Dallas, NYJ, NYG, Steelers, Colts, 9ers, Packers, Colts, Broncos, Saints and Falcons all begin to falter and have 4-12, 6-10, 2-14 seasons…can’t come fast enough…JMO. I think seeing the above teams become competitive and have a shot would be way more entertaining…oh and don’t forget Jacksonville as well! One could hope!

I can see 2013 as the year that buffalo finally ends its playoff drought. The schedule is decent and looks to favor them at home. The away games look do-able, but it all depends on what time of the year the games are played.

At the start of the season, the Patriots were supposed to have the easiest schedule based on last year’s records. Their strength of schedule came in at about 18th, based on this years’ records. That’s about a 50% jump. In other words, ignore the strength of schedule based on this year’s results. Just look at the Colts – and the Eagles.
