I like how a Seattle fan made a free-agents-wont-like-SF joke. Didn’t you guys sign a free agent to be your starting QB only to give him no playing time? Why? Because the other guy was better than expected. That’s what happened here: Jacobs was injured and Hunter and James played better than expected, so we didn’t play him as much as we thought.

If Matt Flynn was making headlines complaining about playing time, would you want him on your team still?

Speaking of defenses not intimidating anyone…has anybody seen Justin Tuck & JPP yet this year? Aldon nearly equaled JPP’s sack total for the year in 1 game! Playing defense with Webster is like playing with only 10 men and Chase Blackburn is the team’s best LB. “Ha-cha-cha-chaaaaaaa!

Let’s see last year Harbaugh claimed Akers was the greatest kicker of all time. He also never wanted Peyton Manning, because Alex Smith was always his guy. You have to love that ego. 49ers will be one and done.

What did Jacobs really expect when he came here? He’s definitely not better than Frank Gore, and he didn’t show that he was better than Kendall Hunter. If he had had a better attitude, he might have been able to play more after the Hunter injury, but instead he moaned and whined and got beat out by a better player in LaMichael James. Good luck to him wherever he goes next, but he will not be missed in SF…

Boy you really sniffed that one out didn’t you Columbo. OF COURSE that’s why they didn’t cut him and instead suspended him. They didn’t want him going back to the Giants in the event they made their end of the season push. And in other news birds fly, grass grows and water freezes.

I think Jacobs got screwed. The whole suspension thing looks pretty curious from the outside. This looks like they just didnt want him getting picked up by another team, not that they wanted to punish him. I hope harbaugh goes up in flames along with his team.

Harbaugh and the 49ers didn’t “bait & switch” Jacobs on anything despite what he or anyone thinks. Can’t crack the line-up, then you sit on the bench and wait for your name to be called. BJ just has an inflated ego and a much higher opinion of his own worth than what the 49ers knew it was. Anyone who thinks that players will be unlikely to want to play for JH and San Fran are plain foolish. When a real team player knows that we don’t f&^% around with issues like this – it’s only going to ENDEAR them to the “team-first” mentality that SF and it’s coaching staff adhears to.

Um yeah Jacobs knew he would be no higher than the third back. He was just hoping he could hang onto another contender because the Giants wanted nothing to do with him. On top of it he got hurt early. He sat back hoping for Gore and Hunter to get hurt so he could come in and play tip toe burglar like he was the missing link. Funniest part is this coming from a Seahawk fan as if Pete Carroll is some man of great integrity lol. Harbaugh’s REAL players love to play for him. Just like Pete’s do for him.

How is it not right? Players get released all the time. He chose to run his mouth and whine (because apparently the team is wrong for playing the guys who are better than him, go figure), well now he can deal with the consequences of that.
