It takes time to rebuild and McCoy has done great things with Tebow and now he and Manning have come up with a system that is dominating.

Sure Manning is the key to the system, but Manning stated early in the season that McCoy had ideas to discuss he had not seen before and that have helped the team.

From a Broncos fan point of view, I hope someone else gets the job in CHI. McCoy has been great for DEN and I would like to see him in DEN for the duration of the Manning years.

Only on the surface…Denver’s collapses weren’t on Cutler, they were on the lousy Broncos defense…And last year’s Bears team folded under Caleb Hanie, not Cutler…This year, the Bears simply choked down the stretch, in spite of Cutler and Marshall, not because of them.

The Broncos passing attack in 2010 with Josh McDaniel calling the plays was top ten .

Mccoy took over when McDaniels was HORRIBLE he didnt adjust anything they went full bore boring Delhomme passing attack and tanked Orton and then went full run mode with Tebow because he couldnt pass at all.

Peyton is running his own offense Mccoy wont last 2 season in chicago if hired

I agree 100%. The NFL should mandate that teams looking for candidates have zero / zip / nahda, contact with any personnel on a team still competing in the regular season or the playoffs. It’s too distracting for any team when they are most likely at a very important time that needs 100% focus. I know for a fact that was a problem in GB last year.

While Martz tried to fit the players to his system, McCoy designs a system around the players year round instead of trying to fit everyone into one mold. He had 3 pretty different schemes with Orton, Tebow and Manning, and was able to get the best out of all 3.

Peyton Manning can make nearly any coach look good and, by all accounts, is as much a coach as a player anyway at this point in his career. But to design an offense for Tim “I’m a QB who can’t actually read defenses or throw the ball” Tebow look good is a genuinely impressive achievement. I wish him luck.
