On offense, we have Locker, CJ, Britt, Wright, Washington, and Cook. On defense, plenty of young playmakers who have simply been mismanaged.

Munchak refuses to adjust. He just isn’t cut out to be a coach. The individual parts of this team are greatly higher than the sum product. That’s on the coaching staff.

It’s not Munch’s fault that he’s not cut out to be a head coach. He’s a pretty good O-line coach, but the decision to replace Fisher in-house was a very poor decision. Plus, it was complicated because it made so late in the offseason. The team has regressed in almost every facet this season, and we haven’t even been competitive against good opponents.

Times like these test the patience of Titans fans. Munchak bought himself another year by blaming his inability on the Titans pursuit of Peyton Manning in the offseason. It was a convenient red herring. Now, we have a lame duck coaching session and a team in reverse.

Horrible decision, Bud.

Yes he had a winning record last year. He also lost to the then one-win colts which directly kept us out of the playoffs. That can’t be forgiven. Titans you are terrible, a bore to watch, and I’m beyond annoyed you’re my hometown team.

Jake Locker does indeed have a ton of potential. In fact, while his toughness is often compared to Steve McNair’s, the start of his pro career is actually very similar to the NFL MVP’s. If you look at their first year as starting quarterbacks, in fact, Locker actually had a higher passer rating, completion percentage, and yards-per-attempt than McNair did. Locker has only just begun.

They won 9 games last season and almost made the playoffs, and were hit with injuries everywhere — especially the O-line, which hampered Locker’s development.

This could be a good team down the road, but they need some O-Line help and more playmakers on defense.
