The Packers played without wide receiver Randall Cobb in Sunday’s 37-34 loss, but Cobb said Monday that there’s no chance they’ll have to go without him in the rematch next Saturday night.

Cobb said he’s “100 percent” going to be in the lineup against the Vikings and said he was close to being on the field in Week 17. The Packers ultimately made the choice to keep him on the bench because there were bigger fish to fry in the coming weeks.

“I wanted to be out there, especially a game like this,” Cobb said, via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “You want to play, but we were just being smart about it. It was a mutual decision.”

The Packers have said that they don’t plan on limiting Cobb to offense when he’s healthy, but they may have gotten a reason to change their mind on Sunday. Jeremy Ross had a kickoff return of 44 yards and a punt return of 32 yards to put the Packers in good field position, raising the possibility that coach Mike McCarthy could turn to him for some of the return duties while Cobb resumes his major role on the team’s offense.
