Ninkovich is a good player who’s gotten better every season in N.E. He’s versatile, competent and reliable; will set the edge, a surprisingly good pass rusher, a pretty effective player in space, etc.
8 sacks and 5 FF on the season, his loss would’ve been a big blow to the Patriots.

After TB walked off the field himself in 08, my entire mindset about “oh it’s not that serious if they can walk off” changed. Glad Nink will be ok.

Having his best year. Hopefully the 2 week layoff is enough to get it right, but I’m guessing he won’t be back to 100% until next season.

Glad this was not serious, I’ve thought all year ninkovich has been coming into his own, we are going to need his great instincts and ball dislodging skills, this guy has a great knack for not only getting pressure but forcing turnovers, he is the ultimate Belichick guy

While it’s true that Francis, Scott and Cunningham are emerging as good players, I still hope Ninkovich gets well enough to contribute at his normal level; he has done a great job this year. Three more wins and we’re SB Champs again. I think the Pats are ready to play at their highest level, now, and no team can match them when they get clicking. Too early to warm up the duck boats, but make sure they’re ready to roll. Pats all the Way!

You hear “hip injury” and the first athlete you think of is Colvin? Man how about Bo Jackson! As a Pats fan, I hope he’s able to play, he’s important to the “d” and I’m sick of these injuries in the last game ruining their chances for a Super Bowl.

This guys is overrated. He’s the reason we don’t consistently pressure the QB because there’s no pressure coming from the left side. Most of his sacks are a result of the other defenders playing next to him. I want him to be replaced by either Cunningham, Francis or Scott in the post season.

Thank God, when they say hip I always think to how Rosevelt Colvin career was wrecked by that freak hip injury. If Rosy never got hurt the Pats probably have one or more rings.
