Completely agree. Lovie Smith falls under that category and hes more qualified then most of his competition. Yet he’ll be interviewed in order to fulfill some dog and pony show.

-How were the Cardinals on defense before Horton arrived?
-How much of any improvement can be linked to him?
-What kind of resources were allocated to the defense relative to the offense since Horton arrived?

If those three questions are answered in favor of Horton, then he should be the HC. That defense is wicked and ‘offensive minds’ are very common in the college ranks.

Actually the RR is racist by design, telling coaches of color that they can’t do it on their own and need help to get there. It’s insulting to everyone’s intelligence and should be scrapped.
