Peyton Manning wins AFC player of week honors

While it is debatable whether stats accumulated against the Chiefs should count as impressive, the NFL has honored Peyton Manning as the AFC offensive player of the week anyway.

Manning completed 23-of-29 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns, piling up a 144.8 rating in the 38-3 rout.

It marks the 23rd player of the week award for Manning, tying him with Tom Brady.

And with a little luck, the two will get a chance to decide something slightly more meaningful in a few weeks.

Well considering it was in three quarters’ worth if play, I think it’s considered impressive.

Manning vs Brady in AFC championship?
When Tom’s on the field, is Peyton gonna be on defense? How about when Peyton has the ball, Tom lines up at linebacker?

His receivers made some pretty spectacular catches to help get him that honor. Interesting how well the Colts did without him this year.

Next comes comeback player of the year, as well as mvp. Then comes my complete lack of respect for the NFL.

“Interesting how well the Colts did without him this year.”

Peyton hasnt played for the Colts in over two years. the first year he was out the Colts won a total of 2 games.

the same year Tom Brady got injured and was out for the year the Patriots still won 11 games and only missed the playoffs because of a tie breaker.
