How that doesnt scream Defensive Player of the Week is beyond me.

Really? Ever heard of a pro bowler named Antoine Bethea? Vontae is having a decent year. He gets at least one PI called on him every game. He has talent but he needs to learn how to better get away with all the grabbing and jostling he does. I will say he is the best (and fastest) pure cover guy we have. But Bethea is a much better player, tackler and safety than VD is a corner.

As a Colts fan, I was nervous when we traded with the Dolphins for him. And Vontae’s “weirdness” showed up on “Hard Knocks” and had me worried.

But he’s battled injury most of the season and was slow to come around…but the past few weeks for the Colts, he’s looked really good.
