Kurt Warner’s spirals were usually ugly too until he started wearing gloves, and IIRC he didn’t start wearing them until he was in AZ in a dome. So it can help either way.

It averages 48 degrees in the daytime in Denver in January. If it ends up NE vs Den that game should be prime time, not early afternoon when it might be warmer for Peyton’s digits. I hate to be a conspiracy theorist but…….kind of like how all scoring plays are reviewed by rule, yet in a 7-7 game where Trindon Holiday flipped the ball prior to crossing the goal line on a punt return, it was never reviewed, and helped Denver along to a win in what was up to that point a competitive game in the second quarter. When does that happen? Ever? Nothing like helping your favorite media boy along to the playoffs…..

There is certainly more velocity on his throws since he’s used it. He threw a couple passes against Kansas City where I was like WOW, that’s the fastest I’ve seen hit come out this year.

I think he should keep it on even if the weather is fine.

The glove is definitely helping. He’s been throwing tighter spirals with the glove. Part of that is continuing to add to his strength, but you can really notice the better ball control during the Cleveland and Kansas City games.

lol, to get to that game in Arizona, he had to end Farve’s career in Green Bay in an absolute freezer of a game.

Denver isn’t in the Rocky Mountains it’s just to the east of them and to say that temperatures sometimes drop below 50 is quite an understatement.

The ability to excel in cold weather conditions was always a leg up that Eli had over Peyton. Apparently, now Eli will just have to settle for excelling in those situations without the assistance of a glove. I’m sure this gets brought up during those fits of sibling rivalry.

If he stays healthy, this could be an interesting new phase – classic Manning with some new willingness to adapt and experiment.

I feel like both Manning and Brady deserve another SB win. If they both reach the AFC title game, I’ll hate to see either lose, honestly. We’ve been lucky to have such talent on display for so long. Won’t be too many more chances to have them both in play.

Wow, way to catch on what many QBs have been doing for years. Flutie brought it from Canada when he went to Buffalo and many QBs have since worn it on their throwing hands.

I guess you don’t realize what you need when you’re playing in that comfy dome all those years.
