After 16 regular season games the Seattle Seahawks enter the playoffs with just about as healthy a roster as possible.

Running back Marshawn Lynch was the only player listed on Seattle’s injury report on Wednesday. He was limited with a back injury that has been managed throughout the year. Lynch appeared on the Seahawks injury report 13 times during the season with a back injury but played in all 16 games and rushed for 1,590 yards and 11 touchdowns.

“We’re very fortunate right now. We’re in good shape,” head coach Pete Carroll said.

The Washington Redskins, Seattle’s opponent in the Wild Card round on Sunday, have 16 players listed on their injury report.

Seattle has just six players on injured reserve and none of them are starters. Defensive tackle Jason Jones is the most significant contributor to be on the injured reserve list. Guard James Carpenter started seven games for the Seahawks before landing on the non-football illness list in December.

The Seahawks saw cornerback Marcus Trufant play in his first game in over a month last week against the St. Louis Rams. He missed four games with a hamstring strain. Linebacker Leroy Hill was held out as a precaution but was able to practice without limitation Wednesday.

“Marcus Trufant is okay and Leroy Hill is coming back. We saw Sidney Rice go through the whole walk through and we’ll get some more work out of him today. Breno Giacomini is going to be okay, he’s been sore over the last week. So we’re in very good shape right now,” Carroll said.

In addition, Seattle will get cornerback Brandon Browner back after being suspended for the last four games due to a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.

“He’s been a big part of what we’ve done here and he’s been a significant factor in the style that we play,” Carroll said. “So when he comes back we’ll see how he does. It’s been a month so we’ll see how he is, how rusty he is.”
