Pats haters - if you MUST show us all how ignorant you are - how about starting out your posts by telling us what team you root for?

Stealing signals - it's been going on in all sports - baseball, football, hockey, tennis - whatever - since the invention of dirt.

Or didn't you know that?

Maybe the only reason Pioli and Cassel were any good in New England was because that team likely continues to spy on and record other teams…they’re just better at covering their tracks.

Patriots: 3-0 in Super Bowls before Spygate, 0-2 after.
__________

I love the haters who thought the Patriots would disappear after their ESPN-created non-story called spygate broke out are now clinging for life trying to come up with some explanation as to why the Patriots keep killing their team (aside from the Giants). Love it.

I'm sure that has nothing to do with losing guys named Harrison, Bruschi, Seymour, Vrabel, and McGinest to name a few.

Because if we've learned anything, it's that defense has nothing to do with winning championships. Get a clue guy.

Look in to how many pro bowlers the roster has. He improved the Chiefs a lot but in a league decided by QBs, he fall short for lack of average QB.

---------------------------------------------------------------

He didn't draft any of the pro bowl players. He drafted Tyson Jackson, Eric Berry, Jonathon Baldwin, and Dontari Powe all with very high picks. Berry is the only guy worth a crap. He drafted 3 turds and 1 good, not great, player in 4 years. And the QB didn't help but other teams find ways to win more than 2 games with trash behind center.

This whole organization is a joke. First they Let Orton walk and keep Cassel only to bench him for Ortons back up who couldnt beat out Tebow Then after the worst season in franchise history they hire an over the hill west coast offense (which is in decline in the league) whos pass happy for a team that has no QB, gettin rid of the only true WR they have and whos only weapon is a rb whos not gonna be user. Then you fire ur GM and most likely give him personnel control to a guy who just assembled one of the most under ultilized and under motivated team in the league. The eagles made the cowboys look clutch. 5 pro bowlers on that roster cuz the rest of the league felt bad for them. IMO they shoulda went after Whisenhunt or Lovie Smith

Scott Pioli, I hope you look back and admit that you have to treat people as people and not like a dictator. Your ego is bigger than Arrowhead Stadium and the results you produced are smaller that your memory. I have read many books and clearly saw how you were taken in under the wings of others in the NFL but when it came time for you to do the same thing for others, you kicked them to the curb like garbage for fear of them doing a good job and not being a yes man to you without the threat of being fired or having a cell phone bugged. I strongly suggest you take the money you were paid and return it to the loyal fans of the Chiefs who are smart enough to put tradition and people skills together to work as a winning formula. Or better yet, use the money on years of therapy for your insecurities, paranoia, and egotistical manner. Or open up your GM (general maintenance) business to clean up gum and candy wrappers it NFL facilities since thats the only way you can judge why a team wins or not. Priorities!!!! A course in people skills and self honesty? Look at the atmosphere you created of hostility, toxic, and fear within a proud organization which I live and die for. I LOVE the CHIEFS. You don't!!! You first have to love something other than your self to take pride in it. I hope the next book that comes out mentioning you focuses on "The Pioli Way" = Hostility, anger, and failure. It saddens me to see this happen to the great game of football and my Beloved Chiefs for which I would give anything to represent and work for because of someone who forgets how he got started and fails to appreciate what he has and do whats best for the organization instead of his selfish self centered ways. I am so FRUSTRATED over you.

Bledsoe was always inconsistent, so I wouldn't put him up with those three guys.

Actually stewman it wasn't until the 2002 season that the realignment happened as Brady did face off against Manning twice in the regular season in 01 and beat him both times.

And not to mention, Brady and Manning virtually played each other once or twice anyway due to the new reg scheduling from the realignment (the second time would be in the playoffs).

Bledsoe and Marino were more of a rival as Manning didn't come into the fold until Marino was just about done.

Well, the KC Chiefs are officially setting their franchise back 10 years. This likely means Reid will be hired and will have full control of personnel decisions.

Chief fans, from the bottom of this Eagles’ fans heart…I’m sorry.

No person is more responsible for the mess the Chiefs have become than this rotten Pioli.

1) The first thing he did when hired was fire every one of the Chiefs scouts. Some with over 20 years experience. Why? because "he didn't know them." So he hired less competent people that would only be loyal to him and not the team. Good scouts don't bounce from team to team.
Unbelievably stupid!!

2) Immediately he needed to find a QB. Rather than search for a good one, he overpays the Patriots for a low talent backup, Cassel. Just he had heard of him.

3) Then there was the change in the defense to what the Patriots had run. That was an excuse to dump personnel and then try to find others.

Without a quality scouting department and without a QB the Chiefs far worse now than the day before this jerk was hired.

What is truly amazing is how blind the Chiefs ownership was in allowing the destruction to go on so long without stopping it.

I feel so sorry for Chiefs fans. Recovery from this level of destruction will take several years.

When I was younger, I used to think blindly that Pioli was a great GM because of the Patriots dynasty.

Then as I grew older and watched a lot more Patriot games, I realized that the system there was Tom Brady runs the offense, Bill Belichick runs the defense, and the other pieces are interchangeable. It wasn't Pioli drafting truly great players, but role players that made a great team!

Love him or hate him he always seemed like a class act. C’mon back to the pats and regroup
=================================
Nick Caserio has outperformed Pioli (helped rebuild the defense and offense) the past couple of years and it makes no sense to bring Pioli back to Foxboro. Maybe Dimitroff in Atlanta has something for him.

He's getting a bad rap here. Sure, they didn't win a Super Bowl while he was there... or make the playoffs... or look competent... but when he arrived he took over a 2-14 team. And you know what? He departs a 2-14 team.

That, friends, is called CONSISTENCY. And it's hard to find that in the modern workplace.

Anyone using terms like 'class act' and 'good guy' in the same sentence as Scott Pioli clearly did not follow his time in KC. The guy created one of the most toxic environments in recent NFL history and was a total jerk to anyone and everyone he came in contact with. The guy has some serious sociopathic issues as well.

He was an awful, awful GM. Just absolutely terrible.

Blah blah blah... It is not all Brady... They went 11-5 without him in 08. BB setup a system of "just do your job" and 'next man up". It works for the players as well as the coaching staff. It is a system where no one part is greater than the whole.

Now having a great QB is key and I am not in anyway downplaying Brady's impact but even he will admit ... The past 12 seasons the Pats are a team first.

Trying to duplicate the Patriots way would require hiring the right guy at the top. Something Kraft got right after the 90's trial and error phase.

Scott Pioli is a good personel guy and under his tenure with the Pats, there were some misses too and he reported to BB... he wasn't the man... I think the KC experience proved he is not a good guy to run the whole show. (YET)
