Getty ImagesThe Bengals have released their final injury report for the week and it looks like they are going to be down a starting safety.
Chris Crocker missed practice all week and he’s been listed as doubtful for the Wild Card game against the Texans thanks to a quadriceps injury. That likely means Nate Clements or Taylor Mays will move into the starting lineup as Crocker sits out the playoff rematch with the Texans.
Houston might not be terribly happy to see him out of the lineup. Crocker had a poor game against the Texans a year ago, most notably a feeble attempt to tackle running back Arian Foster on a 42-yard touchdown run which pretty much put the icing on the cake of a 31-10 Houston win.
Outside of Crocker, the Bengals look pretty healthy for the game. Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis, cornerback Terence Newman and Mays are all probable to play. Cornerback Jason Allen is questionable, although he’s been a regular member of the inactive list even when he’s been healthy this season.

As a patriots fan I hope green Ellis plays very well. Class act beast. Law firm!
I know Crocker had a bad game against Houston last year, but it seems this defense has only stepped up since the Bengals picked him back up this year. So I hope him being out doesn’t effect anything.
thank goodness the law firm is ready to go.
I really hope the o-line did some work this week. No way they’re going to stop J.J. Watt the way they’ve been playing. He could win this game single handedly for Houston. O-line definitely needs to show up in a big way this week!
Crocker also dropped a potential pick 6 just that would have changed the game. He won’t be missed too much
Oh no..Hope he plays
Mays could be a positive factor. He’s due
