Being a Packer fan myself, I want to play Ponder...because knowing our defense, if Webb plays, he'll have an incredible game and destroy us, and I really don't need to deal with that the entire off season...we aren't the greatest against scrambling QB's, I have some awful playoff memories of Vick torching us *shudders* so be healthy Ponder!

For some reason the Packers have that curse...they get destroyed by backups...I pray that Cutler plays every time we play the bears, if we played anyone else, they'd probably win, but Cutler gives us the ball at least twice every game, love that guy.

First of all, the Vikings never came close to leaving the Twin Cities.

But your post is hilarious because it’s coming from a fan of a team that had to play games in another city over 100 miles away for 62 years because the local fan base couldn’t support the team…
------------------
Actually, your post is hilarious. The Packers played in Milwaukee as part of an agreement so that Milwaukee would not be awarded an AFL/AFC team. Every Packer game has been sold out since 1960. Care to try and fall flat on your face again with some more of your wisdom? Good try.

No matter the outcome all of the Packer haters will be out in some form or fashion. If they win a close game it will be because the refs helped them win. If they blow the Vikings out it will be because the refs helped them win. If the Vikings win a close game it would've been a blowout if it weren't for the refs.

For all the ref blaming on here for every Packer win, the posters rarely actually detail specific instances where they were helped. I can however detail a Seattle game with FOUR blown calls on the last drive alone. A 17 yard Viking reception that led directly to 7 points last Sunday on a ball that clearly hit the turf. Three huge bogus PI calls down the stretch against Indy. And the biggest of them all; Jerry Rice clearly fumbling and it not being called leading to the 49ers winning the playoff game.

The only way the Vikes win this game is if they flat out run away with it. If the score is close the refs will make sure that gb gets the win.

Yeah! Just like in week 17 when the packers won that close game!

See, lions fans are as clueless as their coach and team.

As a vikes fan, we need you Ponder. The way you’ve been playing the last 3 weeks is why we’re a playoff team. Continue keeping those turnovers at a minimum and we’ll be in the Super Bowl. People will laugh at me but the Packers are the most overrated team in the playoffs. The Pack is 2-4 against other playoff teams. Tied for worst record with Baltimore. The even more alarming stat is in those games against playoff teams, the Packers are +2 in the TO category…so it’s not those you can blame the losses on. Atlanta is built to lose to the Vikings, and just like that were in the NFC championship game where we’d probably lose. But hey amazing season. Go Vikes!
--------------------------------------------
Where did you get your facts?

The Vikings are 3-4 against playoff teams and if you count the bogus Seattle game correctly, the Packers are also 3-4.

Let's also take into account the fact that your offensive line has played all 16 games together and your only serious injury was Percy 'the locker room cancer' Harvin. The Packers are playing two undrafted FA's on the o-line. I have no doubt that a Packer team as healthy as your Vikings team has been all season would have a bye week right now.

Ponder had the best game of his life with a sore arm, maybe that fixed his wet noodle. GB will be playing the run and Ponder will have to go deep, like 11 yards to win.

This is a stat that I haven't seen reported but I think it's the biggest problem for the Vikings. They have lost 12 of their last 13 night games. If they played Sunday at noon, I'd love the Vikings in this game. For whatever reason, they just don't play well at night.

As a Packer fan I really hope that Ponder plays. It took Peterson rushing for over 400 yards to gain a split with us in the regular season. I can't see another 200 yard performance by him and I definitely can barely see Ponder going over 100. I actually like the Vikings too so I'm not being a hater, just know what Ponder is capable of and it isn't much.

As a vikes fan, we need you Ponder. The way you've been playing the last 3 weeks is why we're a playoff team. Continue keeping those turnovers at a minimum and we'll be in the Super Bowl. People will laugh at me but the Packers are the most overrated team in the playoffs. The Pack is 2-4 against other playoff teams. Tied for worst record with Baltimore. The even more alarming stat is in those games against playoff teams, the Packers are +2 in the TO category...so it's not those you can blame the losses on. Atlanta is built to lose to the Vikings, and just like that were in the NFC championship game where we'd probably lose. But hey amazing season. Go Vikes!

So if Ponder doesn't start, do the Vikes resign McNabb!?

(He's patiently waiting for the phone to ring.)

... or maybe with Peterson they do not really need a QB.

Anyone doubt Ponder will be out there? I suppose Frazier's trying to make the Packers spend time "preparing for Webb - like he'd be a whole different type of QB. Vikings need Winfield much more in any case. Their DBs were running around like headless chickens in the second half.
