Matt Schaub has maxed out in Houston. He cannot take the Texans to the Super Bowl and if he loses to the Bengals on Saturday then the fan base will want TJ Yates to be the quarterback since he won a playoff game last season.
The Texans will not fire Gary Kubiak but they will strip him of the playcalling duties and give the playcalling duties to new OC Norv Turner.
Matt Schaub would lead the Chiefs to an 8-8 or 10-6 record playing against the last place schedule. Schaub would be a better option for Kansas City instead of Michael Vick, Alex Smith or Matt Flynn.
My trade still gives the Chiefs the ability to draft their QB of the future.

My point is, that not every position has to have the most dominant, the fastest or the smartest players. The average Joe can get the job done with a good team around him. If I were GM in K.C., I’d take the best player available before reaching for a QB in the upcoming Draft.
See if Matt Cassel or Brady Quinn can get the job done with a different scheme, you never know.
