Jennings whiffed with both hands on the best throw any QB had made all year, when Rodgers threw on the run, across his body, with pinpoint accuracy 50 yds down the field against the Vikes last week.

Jennings sister, Jennings, Finley … these guys need to pipe down and appreciate the greatness they’re around. They’ll miss it when Kevin Kolb or Mark Sanchez are their QBs next year, cuz the Packers are going to pass and not miss a beat.

How in the world is Drew Brees clearly better than Aaron Rodgers? Brees has had great OLine – especially left tackle and guards since he’s been with the Saints. He actually has a running game and a lot of receiving threats too. Yet he routinely throws 15-20 picks a season. The only reason he throws for more TDs and Yds than Aaron is because he throws 100-150 more passes per season. Rodgers also has higher completion percentage even though he plays home games outdoors. Lastly Rodgers has beaten Brees last 2 times he’s played him and 2-1 overall.

I understand Peyton and Brady but now way is Drew Brees better than Rodgers.

Well I heard an interview with James Jones the other day and he was talking all nice about AR and when they asked him about Favre, he said NO COMMENT. Favre had lots more teammates who very publicly and also anonymously talked about what a jerk he was. Even IF Jennings feels that way(and I bet the house he doesn’t, he’s never said one bad word about AR that I know of) it’s like what 2 dudes ever who talked dumb stuff about AR?

AR is the best QB in the NFL, and he is NOT a system anything. I’ve never seen another QB that accurate let alone one who has every physical talent you want in a QB.

Another thought, this Valyncia person probably has a fan in the wife of my teams’ (Pats) QB who also feels it’s appropriate to rip on her guy’s teammates in public. It’s disgusting. SHUT UP. Text that stuff to your friends, keep it out of the public eye. It’s so low class and selfish to do it in public and make your relative have to deal with it.

Anyone who calls Rodgers a “System Quarterback” and not as good as Brady, then cites Flynn’s Packers success and subsequent struggles after leaving should probably look up a guy called Matt Cassel.

There’s no way you can seriously mean that. Finley is one of the least intelligent players in the NFL. He has played awful until late and he likes to chalk it up to chemistry. No Jermichael, it is because you have stone hands. And Jennings’ wife made sure to tweet that Valyncia’s thoughts were not their own. I like Greg, it isn’t his fault his sister has a big mouth. But it also certainly doesn’t say anything about Rodgers. The guy can’t win….For example, the 60 minutes piece did nothing to promote the MACC fund and just go on and on about his height. He complains about that and people claim that HE wanted praise for doing it. Ridiculous.

I don’t know Rodgers personally of course, but nothing out there can lead to the assumption he is a bad guy or has no character. It was Jermichael being Jermichael and a loud mouth sister who wanted a bigger paycheck from her bro so she could mooch some more.

Aaron Rodgers is not overrated. Along with the usual “he had injuries, bad o-line, etc” comments, he also had the highest passer rating (108) this season, 2+ points higher than second place. He has the highest career passer rating (104ish). The Passer Rating is simply a measurement of a quarterback’s efficiency considering pass attempts, completions, td’s and picks. So, yeah, he’s not overrated. He’s efficient and effective on a team that is not perfectly suited to his style of play. neener neener neener. Tough game tonight, though.

Also look back at his stats an compare those to other Qb’s who had to endure 50+ sacks and see how they fared. David Carr anyone?

Also don’t question his toughness. Fifty sacks and the only time missed was due to gettin poked in the eye.

Continue to use empirical evidence tho to prove he is “overrated.”

Love the people saying Arod is overrated. I am a vikes fan living in WI so I get to watch pretty much every Packer game. I have never seen in my lifetime a quarterback who recognizes the blitz and his subsequent reads faster or throws with more velocity and accuracy on the run. Arod this year covered up injuries, a suspect O-line, no running game, and an average at best defense, still willing the packers to the playoffs and nearly a first round bye. While I sincerely hope he lays an egg tonight, there is no shame in losing to a player like that.
