Oregon coach Chip Kelly remains the first choice of the Cleveland Browns in their head-coaching search, and the team expects to know whether Kelly will take the job soon.

Be ready for something to happen today,” a source told the Cleveland Plain Dealer on Saturday.

Of the six teams with head-coaching vacancies, three of them (the Browns, Eagles, and Bills) appear to have significant interest in Kelly. If he’s getting multiple offers, there’s no reason for Kelly to rush to make his decision.

But once Kelly has met with all three teams -- as he is believed to be doing today -- he may know enough to make up his mind. And the Browns seem to think that Kelly will be their man.
