how do people still bash on Cutler’s toughness…..give me a freaking break. Is there anyone else that plays with type 1 diabetes, gets hit the amount of times he does behind his screen door of a line. I get that you hate his personality, but the toughness thing is tired.

And yet, the Vikes are still in the playoffs while those other QBs are not. Second year rookie QB helped us get into the playoffs so yes I would say its a good pick.

I wonder if you would make the same statement that it doesn’t matter who starts at QB for the packers if Rodgers was hurt? Of course you wouldn’t. This is an obvious advantage for the pack that Ponder can’t start. Webb hasn’t thrown a pass all year. This just makes the vikes even more one dimensional. However how sweet would it be if the packers lost to a backup QB who hasn’t thrown a pass all season !

He can’t throw beyond 10-15 yards when he’s healthy, so it makes sense that that was all they needed to see to make a call.

I don’t think it matters who starts the key to the game for the Vikings is Adrian Peterson playing like last week and their defensive line stopping the GB running game and pressuring Aaron Rodgers. If they can do that all they need their QB to do is not turn the ball over and convert on a few key third downs either with a short pass or with their feet.

For the Packers if Joe Webb starts and they can win the game they should be well prepared for a similar 49ers offense next week.

Just saw “highlights” of Ponder warming up. He wasn’t throwing at even 25% effort. He either gets a shot and has a real warm up, or he doesn’t even suit up.
