Doug Marrone is Monday’s guest on PFT on NBC Sports Network

The Bills introduced Doug Marrone as their head coach on Monday and he’ll introduce himself to PFT Planet as a guest on Monday’s edition of Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network.

Marrone comes to Buffalo after four years as the head coach of Syracuse University, giving him New York state ties he cited during his introductory press conference. Marrone was the offensive coordinator in New Orleans before that and Erik Kuselias will talk to Marrone about what those experiences have done to make him ready to lead the Bills.

There’s also plenty to talk about from Wild Card weekend and we’ve got that covered as well. Mike Florio and Pete Najarian will be on hand to discuss everything from Robert Griffin III’s knee to Christian Ponder’s shoulder to the teams that actually won the games over the course of the hour.

It all gets going at 5 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

  1. Welcome Coach Marrone and good luck! Please, please, please, do not go along with Russ and Buddy if they try to make you draft a QB who grew up in or played college ball in southern California!

  2. Write this down. 1/7/13 The day The Bills became a contender !! I am also an Orange fan.He brought back a SU team from a laghing stock to respectable in 4 years. This guy will be the next big thing in coaching! Mark my words !!

  3. I’m really liking from what I hear about this guy!! I so glad the Bills didn’t go for a retread/recycled NFL coach. It may be a gamble, but it just might turn out to be a hit out of the park. I like Lovie Smith, would love to have him as Def Coordinator, but not as the head coach. Go Bills!!! Welcome Coach Marrone!!!
