PFT Live: Redskins talk with Rich Tandler

There’s little doubt about the biggest story to come out of Wild Card Weekend.

It’s the handling of Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III’s knee injury and Mike Florio will welcome Rich Tandler of CSN Washington on PFT Live to discuss it. Griffin will have an MRI on Monday, but the question of whether coach Mike Shanahan and the team exposed him to too much risk will linger whether or not there was more significant damage to the knee than the LCL sprain that was already bothering Griffin.

Florio will also cover the rest of the weekend so rest assured that the wins by the Seahawks, Packers, Texans and Ravens won’t get short shrift because of the RG3 situation. It was a busy weekend and that’s going to make for a busy hour of PFT Live.

You can watch it all live at noon ET.

RGIII did his team a HUGE dis-service by putting himself ahead of the team. What I think was a torn ACL may now be a torn ACL, MCL and torn medial meniscus. Good luck at getting to 90% with that next yr.

The answer to if RGIII should have been playing in that game is “Joe Webb.”

The REAL question that folks should be asking is why the Redskins didn’t counsel RGIII to be more protective of his body earlier in the season, instead of encouraging him to fight for every inch and take no those big hits.

Hopefully RGIII can pull an Adrian Peterson during the off season.

    Go Hawks
