ProFootballTalk: Why did Kelly pass on the NFL?

For the second time in two years, Chip Kelly decided against a move to the NFL in favor of staying at Oregon. Is this the last we see of Kelly, or is it only a matter of time before he is NFL-bound?

    There is no owner richer in the NFL than University of Oregon football program owner Phil Knight. Kelly saw the chance to squeeze some more dough and practice facilities and maybe 96 more uniform designs out of Phil, so he did. He’s slick, no doubt about it.

    It’s not about money. He has plenty of that. It’s (probably, I wouldn’t know because I’m not him) about winning a National Championship with Oregon.

    And it’s just a matter of time before that happens.
