hey rg3,……..is practice still harder than the nfl games?????
__________
While I am fully aware that rg3andout is just a troll and doesn't deserve a response, I can't believe 19 people gave it a thumbs-up . Not only is it classless, but "Practice is harder than the game" is a classic football cliche that every NFL rookie, especially quarterbacks, has used after their first game since the dawn of man.

Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, Matt Ryan, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Matt Stafford, they've all said it. Criticizing a rookie quarterback for saying "Practice is harder than the game" is like criticizing a rookie quarterback for saying "Wow man, that feels great," after their first win.

Should we put Eli on blast for saying "I'm going to Disneyland!" after winning the Superbowl last year?

Where are all the people that were hyping up Shannahan for Coach of the Year?
________
As I said before, Shanahan’s handling of Griffin’s knee situation, especially on Sunday, was more than questionable, will very likely remove him from consideration for this title, and Washington fans may be questioning his decision for years to come, however, there is a good case to make for Shanahan's handling of Griffin prior to the Seattle game.

During any normal year, for any normal/not cellar-dwelling team Griffin might have been placed on IR after the hit he took from Ngata in the Baltimore game.

However, the Redskins have not made the playoffs for half a decade. Much like the Nationals overpaying for Jayson Werth, the Rockets signing Jeremy Lin and trading for James Harden, or the Capitals giving Ovechkin the largest contract in NHL history, sports franchises on the upswing have to prove they're ready to be a winner and willing to stop being a perennial loser.

By making the playoffs; especially with a young, dynamic quarterback and face of the franchise in Robert Griffin; the Redskins have shown the NFL they're ready to stop being a laughingstock, and legitimize themselves as a contender.

This means not only will they be a desirable destination for free agents at more reasonable prices, but will be more able to retain their own players, and maintain a solid core for years to come.

rams have 3 picks..thank god the browns didnt trade all those players
_________
The Redskins still have a franchise quarterback, something the Browns don't have. Additionally, the Rams have two more first-round picks than than the Redskins: they spent the third on Trent Richardson, who was outplayed in every statistical category by sixth-round pick Alfred Morris. First round picks are great, but good drafting is more important, and there's no price too high for a franchise quarterback.

Moreover, your argument presupposes that Griffin wouldn't have hurt his knee in Cleveland, despite the fact that he undoubtedly would have been scrambling more.

Anyone with a pair of eyes could see that RG3 could not compete at a pro leval after re-injuring his knee. Now it looks like his injury may be very serious that may take a year and a half to recover from. The Skins had no shot of winning that game with RG III's injury especially with the threat of him running gone. He couldn't even properly plant to throw the ball. With a capable Cousins languishing on the bench, Shanahan, by having no guts and making the call himself to bench his franchise qb, the game was no longer in doubt. Now he has to deal with the very real possibility of having jeoparidized the franchise. So much for worrying about player safety.

Shanahan's handling of Griffin's knee situation, especially on Sunday was more than questionable, and will very likely remove him from consideration for this title. But let's not forget that in the process of turning one of the NFL's perennial joke teams into the winner of the NFC East, Shanahan:
1. Won the most competitive divisions in football under a rookie quarterback. (And I said "most competitive", not "best", unbunch your panties NFC North fans)
2. Modified his entire offense to fit Griffin's skillset and maximize his production.
3. Turned a sixth round rookie into the second leading rusher in the NFL
4. Turned Pierre Garcon, one of the league's most inconsistent receivers, into one of the league's most consistent. Not to mention getting a very respectable year out of 35-year-old veteran Santana Moss, who many thought would be cut before the season started, including a tie for 12th place in the NFL in touchdowns.
5. Did all of the above while missing his top two receiving threats for more than half the year (Garcon and Davis), the entire right side (ie. the good side) of his defensive line/pass rush, both starting safeties, and a washed-up journeyman at RT (Polumbus).

While Washington fans may be questioning Shanahan's thought process on Griffin and his knee for years to come; and John Fox and Arians/Pagano probably deserve the award more regardless, it's kind of ridiculous to pretend that Shanahan didn't coach a hell of a season in 2012.

I've been going on this website for years now. I finally made an account to say that all of these RG3 haters are amazing. First off Luck nor Wilson are better than this guy. Luck couldn't produce one TD against The Ravens. The Same Raven team RG3 defeated despite not finishing the game. Wilson was outplayed by Griffin in that 1 quarter he was fresh. Griffin is a great player and hopefully will be for years to come. Its easy to insult this guy because he and Shanny made a bone headed call. But that man wear his heart on his sleve and brought DC (a place that has been down and out) togather. Something Luck nor Wilson has done. Put this personal vendetta away against a running QB. Because. Young, Rodgers(very underatted for his running ability) have proved that theory wrong. Some may think I'm being a Troll whatever. And Peytonsneck18 your QB didn't get the job done at all. Your Kicker made all of your teams points. And lay off this his career is over bull crap. The Kid is 22 years old forget football this is his life. I can only hope Shanny does to RG3 what Walsh did to Steve Young and create him into the passer that teams will fear. Even if that means some losing seasons. This Kid is the face of this franchise. And hopefully he'll be there for years to come. But he has to adjust. HTTR.

I can only hope Shanny does to RG3 what Walsh did to Steve Young and create him into the passer that teams will fear. Even if that means some losing seasons. This Kid is the face of this franchise. And hopefully he’ll be there for years to come. But he has to adjust. HTTR.

I hope the crooks at the league headquarters are proud of themselves. For wanting Dan Snyder and the Redskins out of the title picture so badly by allowing all those late hits by cheating players, now the flagship player of the entire league and top merchandise mover is out of action.

-------------------------------------------------

Is this guy for real? Dan Snyder is the one of let his team down with the field being in such bad shape that his most valuable player went down twice on non contact injuries and may have tore his ACL just like Hawks best pass rusher. Or wait, maybe it was a conspiracy by the lizard people that infiltrated the NFL.

With a14-0 lead in the second quarter he could of had cousins come in and finish the 1st half while Rg3 was being evaluated. the skins weren't moving the ball with the way RG was playing at that time and let the Seahawks close the gap.
cousins also got the skins to the Playoffs by coming in off the bench and beating the Ravins without that win they don't make the playoffs.
Even after halftime RG still didn't look good and skins couldn't move the ball , what did Shanahon think was going to happen, RG was just going to get better
this is all on shanny if he gave Kurt Cousin a lagit shot at moving the offense in the 2nd quarter and it didn't work he could of tried RG again after half time and the end of 1st half would have been the same .
ALL OF THIS IS ON SHANNY AND NO ONE ELSE HE SCREWED UP AND IT SHOULD COST HIM HIS JOB

When it was Romo with the "Fractured Ribs and punctured lung", y'all were calling him a brave gutsy hero......Shaddappp, all of ya, the kid was determined to play, and Shanahan has bigger issues in his relationship with the kid and the team if he pulls him whether they win or not.

Shanny did the thing he had to do. If the Doc says he must come out, he comes out. Doc didn't say it, you, leave your starter in or you have chaos in the locker room for the next 5 years. If it's the Super Bowl, maybe, but in this case, all things considered, we don't bench the starter just yet.....
