Say what you want about Gilbride (and believe me, many Giants’ fans do), he has two rings in 5 years and his offenses have consistently been up top despite heavy roster turnover (not one of our 07 WRs were on the 11 roster).

The Rooney Rule was satisfied when they interviewed Armstrong, the ST coach from the Falcons. Interviewing Lovie could be a CYA move, or it could be genuine interest; either way, I don’t see any harm in giving him an interview.

With a good OC who is philosophically in tune with him but independent in game management and play-calling, Lovie could be a great fit for the Eagles.
