No Nelson, but Finley returns to Packers practice

The Packers don’t have to submit an injury report today, so there’s not much in the way of official comment on any of their injured players.

But reporters there can call the roll.

According to Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press Gazette, wide receiver Jordy Nelson did not practice today.

Nelson had a knee problem going into last week’s win over the Vikings, and limped off the field late.

Tight end Jermichael Finley returned to practice Tuesday, as did receiver Jarrett Boykin, who missed last week’s game with an ankle injury.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said yesterday he had no injuries “of a serious nature,” so it might be a little soon for alarm.

The universe cannot bear the weight of the Packers week 3 injustice. A NFC championship rematch is inevitable.

We all know the Packers gonna stomp them 49ers this time around. When Rogers is motivated they don’t lose. Kaper-who?

    GO PACK GO

The niners match up very well against the packers. This is going to be the first game I’ve missed in 12 years…who schedules a wedding during football season? Ah well. I’m hoping the packers use Harris and Cobb on some screens and dumpoffs to slow the pass rush. If they can do that, the packers have a great chance to win.

    Packers 24, niners 21

I agree, The Packers are going to run down the 49ers & the Seahawks will win in Atlanta. NFC Conference Championship will be Seahawks at Green Bay on 1/20/14 The Packers will get their redemption. Without the outcome being determined by refs who only ref high school games.

For the “why can’t he stay healthy” guy. Pretty sure most of the missed games were to a pulled hammy, which is something prone to re-injury.

As for the most recent injury, I think it was from getting a leg rolled under on a tackle. not much you can do about that.
