Ryan has the front 7 stand around like they are in line at the post office instead of lining up to play. It is suppose to confuse the offense but has only served to confuse the defense.

Before all the injuries came, this was a pretty good defense. Losses came due to special teams and offensive turn overs. We turned the ball over in the Giants game for example on our half of the field which lead to their points. Their offense didn’t beat us. I would have liked to see him get one more year with a healthy defense. We really need a competent GM and an OC. I agree with an earlier comment that Garrett seems better suited for front office than head coach. I don’t see him motivating them or holding players responsible. He has the same look on his face for a turnover or loss as he does for a win.

So, Cowboys fans, you still have JJ in all his roles, Jason Garrett, the unaccomplished, invisible, uninspiring, and undistinguished head coach, and Tony Romo, Celebrity Quarterback (TM), a man more concerned with his semi-shaven look, his golf game, and his blondes than with where he throws the ball. We won’t even get into your sieve of an offensive line or your mama-beating WR. I actually feel sorry for the less loud among you fans.

IMHO Garret is a good administrator and culture “enforcer” but I don’t feel like he inspires other humans much. 7 years as OC…and Dallas still feels vanilla. I could see him more as a front office guy or over-seer of the folks that make the Xs and Os work.

Try something new Jerry, let Steven be the GMj and learn how to clean your own glasses. :P

When you talk that much you better be great. I know injuries were a big part of the problem this year but the talking had to stop. The fact he was always letting players off the hook not good. Danny McCray constantly missed tackles in big spots or was always blowing coverages on big pass plays but was never say and should have been. Hatcher getting the huge roughing the passer against rg3 to extend the drive and virtually end the game should have been yanked out of the game and let it be known that was a huge mess up. Now we need to hire someone who shuts up coaches not just schemes but fundementals that goes for the offensive side of the ball as well
