No matter how much you hold your breath and stomp your feet, the national media has moved on from this story. NFL Network and ESPN still play all of the Patriots Super Bowl highlights in all of their glory. I still see Brady holding his hands on his head and Vinatieri’s kicks going through the uprights in sweet, beautiful slow motion.

After New England has continued their tremendous winning ways, and have been in 2 more Super Bowls since with a completely different team, the media has let it go because they realize the story obviously didn’t mean much.
