Two of the three wide receivers who missed practice for the Packers on Wednesday were back on the field Thursday, providing a strong sign that they’ll be ready to go when the Packers face off with the 49ers on Saturday.

Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson were both on the field as limited participants during Thursday’s session. Cobb was ill on Wednesday and was still not feeling great on Thursday, but he was able to work enough to stay on track to play in San Francisco. Nelson, who has been bothered by a variety of leg injuries over the course of the season, “looked pretty good” in his return to the field, according to coach Mike McCarthy.

“We’ll be good to go come Saturday,” Nelson said, via the team’s website. “Guys are ready to go.”

Most guys are ready to go. McCarthy said that wide receiver Jarrett Boykin, the wideout who didn’t return to practice, isn’t going to be available to play against the Niners. He’s still recovering from an ankle injury suffered in Week 17 and did not play in the Wild Card round.
