The Bengals’ postseason is over. But one of their players will be playing in one more game.
Tight end Jermaine Gresham has been added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster, the Bengals announced on Thursday. He replaces Steelers tight end Heath Miller, who suffered a serious knee injury late in the regular season.
Gresham joins defensive tackle Geno Atkins and receiver A.J. Green as members of the Bengals who’ll be headed to Honolulu.
“It’s great to hear Jermaine is joining our group,” coach Marvin Lewis said. “He’s been a very fine player ever since we drafted him, and he keeps getting better every week.”
Gresham, a first-round draft pick in 2010, also was a Pro Bowler in 2011.
