And to the knuckleheads that try and draw a distinction between Ray Lewis being charged with murder and Ben not being charged with rape and how that relates to their ultimate guilt, keep in mind the charges against Lewis were DROPPED when he pled guilty to lying to the police. You don’t let someone plea to obstruction of justice and get no jail time if you think they really did murder someone. The old saying goes you can indict a ham sandwich. So in no way does the fact that one guy was charged and the other not have anything to do with this argument we will all probably be having at the hall of fame some day. At the end of the day, the authorities in both cases decided there was not enough evidence to convict either of these guys and in Bens case no charges were bright and in Rays the charges were dropped.

What disturbs me the most is that I believe ravenator is a chick?!? Is it possible the filth that comes from the ravenator a posts is actually a woman. Now that’s disturbing. So much easier to chalk it up to nonsense when I thought ravenator was a 13 year old boy, or 40 year old man living in his moms basement. To think ravenator is a girl, I just don’t even know how to deal with that.

I still don’t get the Ben comments. Man was never charged with anything. I don’t understand how anyone can even compare accusations with and actual charge such as Ray Lewis had. So Ben slept with a woman in Vegas, and then didnt want to see her again, and after months of her bragging about it when she learned he didnt want to see her again, she claimed rape. In Georgia, a legally drunk young lady claimed he raped her in a bathroom, but the hospital she went to said no intercourse occurred.

This doesn’t excuse Ben from bad judgement, but compared to 2 men dead, a missing bloody suit, it’s not even close, yet the league wants to pass Ray Lewis off has this saint, and chooses to ignore his criminal past. I really don’t want to judge ray Lewis, but the group that slams Ben, but gives ray a pass, has a disjointed view of accusations, and 2 dead people.

I’m certainly not advocating supporting anyone who beats on women.

But shouldn’t we wait until the facts have been authoritatively established before we decided someone’s fate? As it stands right now, it is an “accusation.”

There is an old saying, “A rumor is half the way around the world before words of the truth have even begun to be spoken”…or something like that.

Seriously. Are all of you that are lauding the Steelers for “doing the right thing” and for “taking a stance” electing to ignore the whole Rothlesberger incidents (yes plural) or are you drinking the same Kool-aid Steelers management drinks. However, if they are turning over a new leaf and setting a zero tolerance policy for ALL of their players, the kudos to the Steelers organization!

The Steelers did the right thing. Quit whining about Ben and James Harrison. They take each situation and deal with it in a fair way. Chris Rainey was not a fit for the Steelers, move on.

If you and I did what Ray Lewis did, we would be in jail with the killers that Ray rode home.

Ravenator, I put my Steelers against your old Ravens anytime. Bronco will handle them and then watch the wheels fall off in the off season.
