As the Ravens prepare to try to break a nine-game losing streak against quarterback Peyton Manning, the availability of one of their best defensive players suddenly is in question.

Receiver Torrey Smith was a new addition to the Ravens’ injury report, with a back problem. The second-year wideout was a limited participant in practice on Thursday.

Also joining the injury report for the first time this week was receiver David Reed, who was limited by a thigh injury.

For the second straight day, a dozen Ravens were listed as injured but fully participating. Guard Jah Reid was absent again with a toe problem. Running back Bernard Pierce (knee) and fullback Vonta Leach (knee/ankle) were able to practice on a limited basis after not practicing on Wednesday.

The Ravens face the Broncos on Saturday in Denver.
