APIf you’re watching the fantastic finish in Denver, you’re missing a stunning start in San Francisco.
While the Broncos and Ravens are busily playing overtime, the Packers and 49ers are playing a great first quarter in their own playoff game, with Colin Kaepernick first making a youthful mistake, and then showing the great athleticism that gave Jim Harbaugh the faith to make him the 49ers’ starter.
After Kaepernick threw an interception that Green Bay’s Sam Shields returned for a touchdown on the 49ers’ first possession, Kaepernick marched the 49ers down the field on their second possession (with a big assist from Frank Gore) and ended the eight-play, 80-yard drive with a 20-yard touchdown run.
If Packers-49ers keeps going like this, Ravens-Broncos won’t be today’s only playoff classic.

Kaepernick cannot throw. He’s the 2nd coming of Tim Tebow.
His passes have been ALL OVER the place and he didn’t see a WIDE OPEN Moss deep earlier.
Dang, I can’t believe Peyton didn’t pull it out. Thank God for number 11. Those two run backs were a thing of beauty.
Now GB just went ahead. Oh, well.
The Ferry Niners are One and Done!!! Their Mid season QB change is going to come back to haunt them. They had a good thing going with Alex smith…
You meant for that to rhyme, didn’t you?
The rhyme was a bonus
Kaepernick can’t throw? i just saw two beautiful TDs that suggest he can. Packers D is making the 9ers look like an offensive juggernaut.
If one of his players punched a ref in the face, and they got a 15 yard penalty, i think harbaugh would still jump up and down like a pissed off 6 year old girl complaining about it.
For all the calls the Packers supposedly get; Harris gets his facemask pulled and they pick the flag up and all I see is hold hold hold. I don’t think the refs are biased but the Packers are getting killed by them. Every time Kaep runs there’s a wide receiver hold. It’s ridiculous.
Packers need to make some adjustments on defense to stop Kappernacks runs. Rodgers doesn’t look right.
to Packers Nation…..ain’t skeerd……………
signed: Colin “not joe webb” Kaepernick.
Mediocre defense and offensive line will doom the Packers, especially given the time the GB defense has been on the field already.
Kaepernick is going to be a very good QB. Reminds me of Rodgers a bit. Big arm, good legs and wants the ball in the clutch.

Agreed Packers either need a spy or go to a zone so the DB’s backs aren’t to the QB.

Foot, let me introduce you to mouth….
Packer defense:
Clay Matthews – non-factor
Tramon Williams- in over his head
Against the run- awful
At least Tim Teabow won a playoff game with the Broncos. Payton looked uncomfortable out there playing today.
Harbaugh is a beeyotch
And keeps striking!! GO NINERS… We aren’t done yet!!
Man I’m glad we didn’t draft Rodgers. This young Kaepernick was worth the wait!! 49er Faithful, looks like we are back on top!!!
