Could have sworn I heard Buck and Aikman swooning that this was the most rushing yds by a QB in a game PERIOD, not just a playoff game. if so, incredible work by Kaep and his o-line. Not to toot my horn, but after the ’11 draft, I said to my buddies: Kaepernick and Dalton will be the best QBs out of this draft class. At least one of them is proving me right so far.

Yep, right call. Kaep is very fast and is a good passer. To all of the Packer fans: congratulations on a successful season. This divisional playoff game should serve notice that all of your GB vs. 49er playoff dominance is officially irrelevant. Neither of these rosters has any ties to any of that history.

The better team won and it would have been the same overall outcome had the game been played in GB. You cannot blame this loss on the refs, nor can you blame it on the “Fail Mary”.

So now it’s okay for the read option and to have your QB run. None of the “pundits” are crying, “You’re going to get your QB killed!” But with RGIII it was the worst idea ever. Now the other coaches are being called geniuses even though they bit on Shanahan’s tip.

Why didn’t Capers change it up and put a spy on him, at least at half?

Seahawks had a spy on RG3 for the first quarter last week, making him beat them with the pass (and he did, hitting guys (TE, FB) that would normally be covered by the guy spying, for both of the TD’s); it may not have worked, but it was an adjustment, something GB’d defense didn’t do.

Cheeseheads can drink themselves silly on boxed wine tonight, and spend the rest of the offseason blaming the grave social injustice of replacement refs for all their team’s failures this year.

Fluke… He’s going to get hurt like rg3 eventually.. Or else teams will go to the 4-6 like we did in high school against the run option teams. this pistol run option is just a fad like the wildcat was. Ownership pays too much money to quarterbacks to let them risk injury this often. Not to mention the coaches need to be able to count on the qb so getting him hurt for a few yards is meaningless. … Right Shanahan?

Maybe Packer fans will finally agree its tough to win against the best teams in the league with a half a running game and a porous defense. Why so many “experts” thought GB was going to win this game away in Candlestick Park with a defense that gave up over 500 yards rushing this year (including playoffs) to one guy is beyond me.
