ReutersThe Ravens took a haymaker early, but they’ve answered with one of their own.
After a 90-yard punt return from Trindon Holliday put the Ravens in a hole and a mishandled kickoff return from Jacoby Jones put the Ravens in a bind and a misfired throw from Joe Flacco to Tandon Doss forced them to punt again to Holliday, the tide turned with the tossing of a yellow flag.
Pass interference on Denver moved the ball from the Baltimore eight to the 33. Two plays later, Flacco heaved a bomb and Torrey Smith ran past cornerback Champ Bailey, caught the ball, and cashed in on a 59-yard score.
Smith’s ability to hit full speed should be encouraging to Ravens fans, given that he showed up on the injury report Thursday with a back injury.

Uh oh… Pick 6 for the Ravens.
Manning is starting to choke again…
Peyton’s in playoff form, throwing that pick six.
Any dogs in the house?
Everything I dislike about the current direction of the NFL was showcased on that drive.
Two ugly Flacco throws land incomplete to end the Ravens drive….. except that the drive doesn’t end because the refs decided to put their stamp on this game early.
Not a manning fan, but that one on the receiver, plus the no call, on grabbing the receiver’s arm
Some questionable calls and non calls so far. Denver PI Bal wasn’t catchable. And non PI call on pick 6. It’s like one min refs say ” we are going to call anything close” then on the pick 6 they decide, “let em play”.
