Gronk not getting 1st team is a sham, even though he missed 4 games he was on pace to have the same season he did last year and was head and shoulders above any other TE before his injury as a receiver and run blocker. I'd put Jimmy Graham above TG and Witten by a mile also but at the end of the day Gronk is still a mile past Graham.

And whoever said Witten had the greatest season ever for a TE must have Alzheimer's if they can't remember Gronk and Jimmy Graham's 2011, it's one thing to have a lot of catches its another to have a lot of touchdowns. Just my 2 cents

Look Green Bay fans. I know you love Aaron Rodgers (use to love Brett Favre too). He is a good QB. Top 5 no doubt. But nearly every (non GB) fan, coach, g.m., OC would pick Tom Brady or Peyton manning over Rodgers to lead their franchise in a single year. Outside of Green Bay Wisconsin that is. So while Rodgers deserves to be on the list, he’s not in the top 2 QB spots. I am no Drew Bree’s fan but its hard to argue Rodgers over Bree’s or vice-versa.
----------------------------------------------
Actually its easy to argue Rodgers over Brees. Rodgers is more accurate 67.2 to 63%, with a higher yards per attempt while not playing in a dome. Plus he can run. I really do not even see the argument for Brees in the talk.

Brady and Manning are a different beast. What i think separates Rodgers from those two is his ability to run. He doesn't run just a little better than those two, he runs worlds better than those two.

Rodgers also has had his top 1-3 RBs out. All of his WRs have missed time but Jones (you know the guy who couldn't get a contract in UFA but from GB) and his top 3 TEs have missed time. While leading the league in passer rating.

The real question is why Rodgers isn't in the talk with Brady and Manning to you other than spite.

Not trying to hate on GB, but I don't see them in the SB. Not with that defense and a serious lack of a running game. I know Peterson is a different cat, but any defense that allows a guy to rush for over 500 yards in a single year on them is not SB worthy. Not to mention that makeshift offensive line and an undrafted runningback promoted off the practice squad who couldn't cut it with the Jags or Steelers. Sorry, no dice.

So while Rodgers deserves to be on the list, he's not in the top 2 QB spots. I am no Drew Bree's fan but its hard to argue Rodgers over Bree's or vice-versa.

1 from the Atlanta Falcons and 5 from the Seattle Seahawks. Go Seattle for tomorrow’s game.

None for the Packers and 6 for the 49ers. That’s a lot of power from the NFC West

———————————————————–

Well when you are consistently picking at the top of the round for the better part of a decade you should (hopefully) begin to see some returns.

------------------------------------------

Seahawks didn't draft Beast Mode. Sherman was a fifth rounder. Unger was a seconder rounder. And the only first round (14th overall pick) Seahawk on this list is Earl Thomas. Hmmm those aren't exactly top of the first round selections are they . . . Seahawks are just great at finding talent anywhere and everywhere. But you can pretend otherwise if you prefer.

Also, Atlanta spent the better half of that decade near "the top of the round", as you put it, as well. Didn't they get Matty Ice number 3 overall?

That's very true I wonder why the falcons don't have more players on this list hmm.

What A JOKE this is you left out the leading tackler in the NFL. Carolina Panthers LB Luke Kickley was the best at his position and you pass him by and put 4 SF 49'rs LB on the team. As I said before what a JOKE this is!
