The Patriots were able to easily beat the Texans last month without Rob Gronkowski. If the Pats win today, it’ll likely again be without Gronkowski.
He appeared to re-injure a forearm he fractured in November while falling to the ground after trying to catch a pass. According to Steve Tasker of CBS, Gronkowski appeared to be in obvious pain before heading to the locker room.
The fall to the ground seemed fairly innocuous. If that was enough to aggravate Gronkowski’s arm injury, perhaps he wasn’t really read to be playing.
