Have you guys watched this Ravens defense?! They only use 3 down linemen and don’t let you know which of the 4 LBs is rushing! Talk about a gimmick, it’s like a cheap shot in a fight! Why can’t they just declare who is rushing before the ball is snapped so that the offense can be ready for it?!

It’s OK though, these gimmicky fad offenses don’t work for long. Just look at Washington, the very second Griffin ripped every ligament in his knee, he wasn’t as good as he was before ripping every ligament in his knee.

That doesn’t mean the Pats will win, just that this didn’t go over very well with them.

What does a “gimmick” offense even mean, that it doesn’t count? TDs are TDs my friend. If you roll the ball, throw it or dink and dunk it, it’s all 6 points.

Not a Pats fan at all, but I’m so glad I’m not the only one who understands this. Montana had the weakest arm of anyone in a GOAT quarterback discussion,with a career average YPC of 7.5. That would only put him at 11th highest in the NFL this season. Not saying Brady or Montana were dink-and-dunkers, but that the negative connotation needs to be taken out of that phrase. If you can dink and dunk it all the way down field, control the clock and win games, that’s all that counts. I’ll take a QB who throws nothing but flats and screens at a 70% completion percentage over a guy with a cannon and a 55% completion rating any day of the week.

Except 75 % of their games (since 2007), 5 playoff games, 4 AFC East championships, 2 AFC Championships, to go along with multiple NFL offensive records.

If that’s is “not won anything” then clearly and logically that means almost every other team has won less than nothing.

Smart move on his part. BTW, I would think that within the next five years, every team with legitimate Super Bowl aspirations will be able to run a no-huddle, hurry up offense. Clearly it created mass confusion with the Texans defense in both games they played against the Patriots.
