I think the Miranda Rights give you the right to remain silent until a laywer is present (and the gov’t will provide a lawyer if you cannot provide one yourself). (thank you Law & Order).

Cops can and will use anything you say against you. With that in mind, why would you ever “cooperate” with them without a lawyer present? Which is his right to do, via the Fifth amendment.

Oh wait, those things never happened. Even if Britt didn’t do it, you never hear about any of those guys I just mentioned being involved in shady activities like stabbings, drugs or anything like that. Just remove yourself from the situation, dummy.

So please, refrain from sounding like a horses rear and don’t add comments about how this is somehow Kenny’s fault or that he should have avoided this. etc etc (see any post, other than the dui post, about Aldon Smith for reference to how annoyingly stupid a large number of commentors are)
