For what it’s worth, I’d bet they’d still have won the division. They would most likely have been playing wild card weekend instead of getting the bye. They’d have been hosting either Cincy or Indy. Yeah, defintely better off w/Manning. That’s a no-brainer. I just thought Tebow was fun to watch and I wish the Jets didn’t take that away this year.

Or what would have happened had they advanced to the SB? It was going to happen anyway. It was just a matter of time. The Bronco’s were seeded higher than they should have been by virtue of a steady diet of sub .500 teams. The only wins they had against better teams were when those teams were either in disarray (Raven’s fire O coordinator and have a bunch of injuries), or they play a team with no real offense, like the Bengals. That blowout win against the Raven’s really set the expectations way too high. Take away the special teams touchdowns and it really wasn’t a good performance all the way around for the Broncos. They did the best they could with what they had. Same goes for the regular season. They maximized their opportunity. However they did not warrant moving on in the tournament. It’s painful to hear, but it’s true.

As for Tebow, I guess he did take them farther with less talent on the roster, and they did in fact run him out of town, so I don’t begrudge a guys brother for pointing that out. It’s family, and as I recall, some of the Bronco players were less than classy in some of their remarks when they go the misguided idea during the season that they were going to go farther with Manning this season. So before jumping the Tebow’s, the Bronco players and the faithful (no pun intended) might take a look in the proverb-ial (again, no pun intended) mirror. From where I sit, Tim Tebow didn’t deserve the negativity thrown his way, and I don’t buy that he’s all that much more of an attention hound than any other NFL narcissist. It’s US, the fans and media that generated the attention, not him. I never heard the guy say a bad word about anybody. That in itself is a huge accomplishment, all things considered.

I bet Belichick signs him and makes him a tight end. LOL! Maybe before this season ends! LOL!
